TwoUp v0.2
What use is it?
TwoUp will open two applications at the same time.
Why?
To make daily computer use more elegant. To cut down on menu hunting. To save the musculature of your hands for better things.
How does it work?
TwoUp uses an initialization file to specify the two applications you want opened together. Follow these three steps:
First Step
Make a new text file called "you_choose_the_path\you_choose_a_name.ini"
and list the two applications you'd like started together (as below).
[Options]
tit1 = text seen in the title-bar of the first application window
app1 = the path and name of the first application
tit2 = text seen in the title-bar of the second application window
app2 = the path and name of the second application
Second Step
Make a windows shortcut to TwoUp.exe and edit the shortcut properties, adding the path and name of your ini-file like this:
The Command-line (or Target) should follow this form:
"path\TwoUp.exe" "path\name.ini"
Third Step
From now on, use your new Shortcut to open both applications together.
When you close the second application, the first will close too.
